BXLivechat ("we", "us", "our") provides a live chat platform for businesses worldwide. This privacy policy applies to data we collect through our website at www.bx-livechat.com and our application at app.bx-livechat.com.
2. Data we collect
When you visit our marketing site we collect anonymous usage analytics (pageviews, country, device class). When you create an account we collect your email, name, and any data you choose to provide. For visitors interacting with our customers' chat widgets, we process messages, visitor identifiers, and metadata strictly on behalf of the operating business (the "data controller").
3. How we use it
We use the data to operate, improve, and secure the service. We never sell personal data. We use sub-processors (listed at /security) to provide infrastructure, email, and analytics — all bound by data protection agreements.
4. Your rights
Under GDPR, PDPA, and similar laws you have the right to access, correct, export, and delete your data. Email [email protected] to exercise any of these rights — we respond within 30 days.
5. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and language preference. We use analytics cookies only with your consent.
6. Data retention
Account data is retained for the lifetime of the account plus 90 days for backup. Logs are retained for 30 days. You can export and delete your data at any time from the dashboard.
7. International transfers
Data is processed primarily in Singapore (ap-southeast-1) and Frankfurt (eu-central-1). Transfers outside the EEA rely on Standard Contractual Clauses.
